Ministry through music is in the earliest memories of Sis. Dana Walls. She doesn’t recall how old she was when she began to learn to play music for her parents in church. She started out playing an accordion at such a young age she had to lean back in order to play. As a child playing church with her sister and cousins, she was always the piano player. Given a tremendous talent by God cultivated by hours of practice, she blossomed as a ministering musician. By the age of fourteen she was pulled out of school so often to play and sing with her parents during revivals and funerals, they decided to homeschool. By sixteen she was the church pianist where her father then pastored. Her husband feel in love with her while looking in the window of the church, watching her walk from the organ to the piano. In 1979, Sis. Dana and her husband humbly accepted the call of ministers of music for the Richlands Tabernacle where she still serves today, continuously using her talent to play and sing in music ministry.
Sister Doris Horton was Pastor Ralph Horton’s wife of the Richlands Tabernacle in Richlands, VA. For over 40 years, she has directed and managed the Richlands Campmeeting hospitality accommodations. Sister Doris stills serves in this capacity and shines as a Godly beacon for women everywhere to be hospitable both in their homes and everywhere they go.
