Transition to OBI

Here I will share a major transition in my life personally.

Very early on June 20th, sleep was overcome with a great burden to pray and seek The Lord about His direction for my life. He was so near as I prayed and then God spoke, not audible, but in that still small voice that I have heard many times before. He said, “Go to O.B.I” (Ozark Bible Institute). I was extremely shocked as I never thought I would go. I had seen the positive impact it had had on my 3 brothers, but just never felt called to go myself. My first thoughts was of the opportunities I had already committed to fulfilling during that time. I began to question if I should wait until January to go, but I felt God deal with me to go as soon as I could. As I continued to seek God, He brought me to that place of surrender where I could sing from my heart, “I’ll say Yes, Lord, Yes to your will and to your way…”

After coming to that place of surrender, I felt a deep peace and assurance of God’s direction and guidance. I began to pray that God would reveal it to my parents if this was indeed His will for my life. As I approached them about it and told them how God had dealt with me, they were very supportive and also felt God’s leading in this direction.

As I am now in my fifth of school, I can truthfully say that God has been extremely faithful and I know without a doubt I’m in the center of His perfect will. I have loved each class and been changed by what I’ve experienced in God’s Presence. Many questions have arose to the furtherance of the Princess Conference ministry. I don’t know in detail what the future holds, but I do desire to be lead by God each step and I definitely feel that this is His will for now. I am still taking opportunities to do Princess Conferences. The last one being in Richlands, Virginia.  I covet your prayers that God will continue to lead my steps and that He would get all the Glory from my life as I seek to obey His voice.
